I was trying to make something to fall asleep to, with the combination of stereo panning, random rhythm and gentleness. But I found this made me have wonderful creative thought patterns. I have ADHD, and playing this on headphones really opened up my mind and let my thoughts flow freely. Click the pic to listen!

This is my favourite thing I’ve ever made. It’s named after Simon’s Quest, the sequel to the Nintendo game Castlevania, and it imagines a level where he confronts his worst demons, his own. Click the pic to listen!

I made this on a beautifully elegant Android app called Electrum. I was bussing at a Firkin pub and made a ton of music on the streetcar to and from work. The beeps and boops are individual samples of the Gameboy sound from the SNES Mariopaint composer game. Click the pic to enjoy!

I wrote this when I was worried about my heart. I was going through an insane amount of stress and I learned my dad had had a heart attack at my age. I was trying to make something that would feel calming, through the use of moving stereo (like in ASMR videos), descending melody (something that made me sleepy) and gentle textures. A while back I made this song using a sample from My Favorite Murder. I thought it was funny that the crowd cheered for the name of a serial killer.
